Breakdown of Reality

27 year old dude from Vancouver, WA (near Portland, OR). I joined the Army three years ago and am currently stationed at Ft. Riley, KS. Don’t ask me what I do because I can’t tell you.

I like writing. A lot. I also like reading. A lot. I also enjoy thought provoking movies. A lot. My favorite authors are Simon R Green, Neil Gaiman, and Dean Koontz. My favorite movies include Memento, Inception, Donnie Darko, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I am a man of faith. I was raised conservative protestant but now personally believe in the charismatic gifts, so I consider myself a non-denominational charismatic. I believe in God, Jesus, and the Bible, but will not shun you if you don’t. Don’t mock my faith and I won’t mock yours. I also won’t try to convert you.

I plan on getting into politics after I get out of the Army and go to school. I would like to see the power in the government move from the federal government back into the hands of the people. I believe this will start with a shift towards stronger state power. Wait, I didn’t say that, because I’m not allowed to have a political opinion, or pratice politics. Which is why I have to wait until I’m out of the Army.
